Webkinz are stuffed animal plush toys released by the Ganz company in 2005. There are currently 68 styles of Webkinz, including 26 styles of lil Kniz, all distrubted through 30,000 retailers! Ganz’s headquarters is in Toronto, Canada and has offices all over the world.
They are much like the famous “Beanie Babies” but come with a unique, special code on their tag allowing for the owner to make an online world for their Webkinz. This online world is called “Webkinz World”. So far, Ganz has announced that it has sold over 2 million units to retailers and has over 1 million users on Webkinz World!
Most Webkinz are 8.5″ tall but there is also a smaller version in production called ‘lil kniz which are slightly cheaper. The Webkinz have been marketed much like TY Beanie Babies, where they retire certain models of the toy after a certain amount of time. This has lead to those retired versions becoming very sort-after.
In Webkinz World, when you adopt a pet, you are given the “basics”, including 2000 Kinzcash, a room, a piece of furniture and a welcome baloon. Kinzcash is the currency of Webkinz World. Each Virtual Webkinz has a level of happiness, hunger and health - which can be enhanced by playing with your Webkinz.
Like most games, Webkinz World evolves around Kinzcash which is earned from playing multiple games, including quizzes and arcades. The Kinzcash earned can then be used to buy more items for your virtual Webkinz!
There are an increasing number of ways in which Kinzcash can be generated using “cheats” which aim to either con the Webkinz World system or aim to give the player as much Kinzcash for as little effort as possible. Whole web communities have sprung up to aid in this “black market” of Kinzcash.

This is a great tip. If there’s a webkinz coupon on hourly events, if u get there like really close to the hour the more percent u get off a product. I got there right on the hour and got a 75% coupon, I saved 1,500 kinzcash when i bought the 2,000 kinzcash pool.

Do you need more secret chef resipies? Well I know I did. Go to your webkinz room and go to the tv. Click the secret chef. Use those resipies for your cooking. I did. It makes every day more fun for you and your webkinz. Any webkinz loves the recipies so try it out it will make webkins more fun and exciting for you and your wrbkinz pet!

Anyways I love Webkinz Trading Cards. I only need about 7 more till I have them all! I am only one gem away from the crown of wonder. The tips on the home page will really help! I have a question regarding the adoption of a second Webkinz pet. When I adopt a second pet, does this create two accounts that I have to keep track of, or do both of those WEbkinz share one ID, and also share all the Kinzcash?? Thanks

I am writing back in regards to how many webkinz I have. I have registered 4 so far, but I have a total of 9. I am going to wait awhile before registering them. I too am sooooooooooo addicted to the site. I feel the need to log on first thing in the morning to see whats the daily activities. I just don.t like it when the site knocks me off. It happens alot. If anone else has this problem I.d like to hear about it. I usually get knocked off when I am in the clubhouse. It is really cool to visit other webkinz homes. I just can’t seem to get the hang of inviting guests over, it just doesn’t work for me. I am looking forward to receiving the black cat. I have my name at my local store on a waist list.

I received a phone call from Ganz this morning & was told that many of the trading cards featuring free webkinz were made with invalid codes. If you received one like I did please go to the Webkinz site & email them. They WILL email you back with a phone number to call. I called them & left my number & they called me back within 24 hours. I was told that they will fix this problem & call me back with info on how to get my free Webkinz. I’m relieved that I won’t lose out on my free webkinz.
