I’m sure by now many of you have seen Kinz-Land’s forum’s timewarp. You see, Kelly’s husband is having server issues, and the site has reverted back to before Kelly took over. They are working very hard to fix it ASAP!

New Webkinz Products: Too Far, Too Expensive and Unfair?

Hey Everyone! Marsh here. I haven’t written in a while, but when the new webkinz spritz and lip gloss came out, I just had to write about them.

Personally, I dont think I will purchase Webkinz Body Spray or Lipgloss. I’m not interested in paying over $5 for “makeup” just because it has a webkinz label. They will be almost as much as lil kinz! I think the salon theme is pretty cool, but I wouldn’t buy these new products just for it. However, some people really want this theme. But it seems that Webkinz was a little gender specif when planning new products.

Boys are not going to want to be seen buying “makeup”. Members said this on the forum, and I agree, its not fair to the boys who play webkinz:

Memtab:It is unfair for all of us boys! But I still REALLY want the theme!

JordanKiesel: Im a boy too! and i like the theme too! But I dont want the stuff that you have to buy to get it! why dont they make boy stuff? its not just girls that play on webkinz. I was at some place and i was wearing my charm bracelet and someone asked me if i played on webkinz, i said yes and someone else said they did too! And there were only 4 people there including me! me two other boys and 1 girl, the girl and one of the boys played webkinz.

Hollisterco48: L deff agree!! i mean there is charm bracelets, necklaces, body spray, and lipgloss. I feel bad for the guys. They have no webkinz things that are just meant for guys!

Also, I think Ganz forgot their target market. I thought Webkinz is supposed to be a place for everyone to enjoy, including younger children. I dont know about you, but I wouldnt want my 5 year old or even 9 year old strutting around with perfume and makeup.

Some people on the Kinz-Land have thought up some ideas which I think are much better than makeup:

IHeartWebkinz: They should make something more for boys. Like Webkinz Candy Bars that come with a feature code! LOL I am serious! It could unlock something from the Candy-Land exclusive room theme! Yay! LOL The feature code could be on the inside of the wrapper

Pinkwink4: I am a girl and I have cousins that are boys that plkay with webkinz and I think Ganz should make baseballs and soccerballs that unlock sport games and sport shops online and a soccer or baseball theme !

I really think Webkinz didnt think about the downsides to these new beauty items.

Webkinz Salon Theme

Thanks to Cuddleyone for finding these pictures of the new Salon Theme(Found on another site)! I’ll get to the pictures, but first, let me give you some information on the products.

Both Webkinz LipGloss and Webkinz BodySpritz come with a special webkinz feature code. With each feature code you get to pick 1 piece of furniture from the salon theme out of a whole collection! That will be a LOT of lip gloss and bodyspritz to collect the whole theme! (I wonder how much it will cost!) Anyway, here are the pictures I promised:

Webkinz Charm Forest Glitch Discovered!

In the Webkinz Charm Forest, there is a problem! If you get a webkinz charm forest key and find more than one webkinz charm, the last webkinz charm will not appear in your webkinz Forest Charms.

For example, if you found the webkinz drum forest charm and then the webkinz octopus forest charm, you would not find the webkinz octopus charm in your webkinz charm forest.

Ganz don’t seem to be addressing this problem and so innocent Webkinz players are getting robbed wrongly of Webkinz charms which they find and can’t see in their webkinz charm forest!

Hey everyone!

Webkinz World has been adding lots of new interesting features and one of our members in our Webkinz Forum discovered a totally new thing: Webkinz Crafty Critterz!

Webkinz Crafty Critterz is basically a little open Webkinz club which gives you tons of information on Webkinz crafts and recipes that you can make at home or at school!

The Webinz recipes / crafts are spread throughout the Webkinz crazy critterz site and are labelled with difficulty stars. The more stars a Webkinz craft has, then the more assistance you will likely need from an adult. If a Webkinz Craft has a star rating of one, then you are likely able to do it on your own, thouhg!

Should Webkinz be allowed to get married?

Webkinz and marriage isn’t the biggest hit in Webkinz World right now, but here in the Kinz-Land forums, Webkinz marriage has been a huge hit for a while now.

It’s only after Ganz told every Webkinz fan that Webkinz are apparently “too young” to get married, that we had to close the Webkinz marriage forum down. The Webkinz Players who frequented the Webkinz Marriage forum, although could not officially Marry their webkinz anyway, had their last means of Webkinz partnership taken away from them.

Webkinz World is a strange place, with every single Webkinz pet being single and unmarried. It makes Webkinz World seem like a place where partnership does not thrive or even exist and it also makes friendship Webkinz friends seem harder to come by.

It’s my question today then as to why Webkinz cannot get married. Why can’t two of our lovely pets get married in Webkinz World?

The reason is quite down to earth and un-Webkinz like, in my view. You see - Ganz can only make features in Webkinz World which will actuall work. This means that if you want two of your Webkinz to get married, Ganz have got to make a little wedding chapel, Webkinz bride’s dress and all that other stuff.

I think that for Ganz, it’s just not feasible to do something like that. Webkinz World is a big place and Ganz have got to watch out for all their members. What happens if a Webkinz runs away from its marriage or what happens if a Webkinz tries to marry another Webkinz witout getting a divorce.

Webkinz marriage would be an interesting addition to Webkinz World, however I don’t think can technically achieve it.
