Chapter 3- Lived and Learned

Rascal began to vigorous write his report. By the he had finished, his hand was cramping.

What I learned This Year

I was never a very good student. Although the other students learned lots this year, I didn’t. Even though I had an amasing amazing teacher, I didnt learn much. But it wasnt my teachers fault. It was mine. I never payed attention. Thats what landed me here in summer school. I was hoping to write this report then be able to leave summer school. Now I want to stay and continue learning. I want to learn what I missed this year. I’l work hard until I do. Thats what I’ve learned this year. I learned I can be a good student if I have a bad attitude. I learned I need to work harder.

I’m so glad I came to summer school. I’m also very happy Mr.Lee was my teacher this year. I’m glad that I learned to be a better person. I should never had done all I did. I’ve decided to give all my video games away, they were a distrakation distraction. I’m going to give them to Ginger, because I feel so bad that I pelted her with spitballs all year! And to you, Mr. Lee, I have nothing to give. I just ask that you teach me. I really blow it, I’m so sorry!

Rascal looked at his essay. It wasnt the best essay he had ever written, but he was proud of it. He fully intended to give away his video games. But right now, he had to pass in his report.

Rascal approached Mr. Lee’s desk.

“I finished Mr. Lee. I did it right this time”

Mr. Lee began reading. The room was silent for what seemed like hours. Then, Mr. Lee put down Rascal’s Report.

“I’m so proud of you Rascal. Now what would you like to learn?” said Mr. Lee

“I want to learn it all” replied Rascal

And so the story ends. This summer was one Rascal would never forget. Rascal grew up to be a teacher. He had given away his video games. Ginger enjoyed them so much. Rascal grew up and molded young minds. H spent one particular summer teaching a young cat named Muffin. Muffin had a lot to learn.

Rascal’s Report

Chapter 2: Getting the Write Idea

It was mid July, and Rascal was in school, the last place he wanted to be. He was told, although it seemed like he was forced, to write a report about his favorite subject they had talked about in school that year.

The report only had to be one page, but so far Rascal had 2 words done. He glanced at his paper. He had tried the oldest trick in the book: writing extremely large to take up more space. Since he had done this, his name stretched across the entire first line.

Rascal tried to remember how to construct a good essay. He’s mind drifted back to that year in school, but he could only remember what he had drawn on his desk the day they learned about essay structure. Rascal tired to remember how to spell report, but he could only remember every using his spelling list as spitballs. Rascal couldn’t remember a thing he had learned.

He glance up. Mr.Lee was sitting at his desk, reading a book. Rascal decided he needed some help. Soon he found himself at Mr.Lee’s desk.

“Um, Mr.Lee? What would you write about?” Rascal asked.

“Well, my favorite thing to teach this year was about rare items. I went to high school with Arte you know.

“Okay. Thanks Mr.Lee”

Rascal went back to his desk. Rare items, rare items..Rascal couldnt remember anything about the Curio Shop. He was so angry. He wanted to be playing with his friends, so he began to write:

What I learned in School this Year

I learned that Arte owns the Curio shop. I learned Curio is spelt with a C. The End.

Rascal had managed to use up the entire page. He brought up the essay.

“Finished already?” said Mr.Lee taking the essay. “Rascal, this is harden even a paragraph. This is not a report. You can’t write big to take up the whole page. Try again.”

Rascal got very angry. He took the paper and ripped it in half. “I DONT REMEMBER ANYTHING!!! I NEVER PAYED ATTENTION!!! NOW I DONT KNOW ANYTHINGGGGGG!!!!” He was screaming now.

“Perhaps you have learned something after all, Rascal. ”

Rascal looked at him, then down at his feet. He watched as his feet brought him over to the paper pile, then to the pencil sharpener, and back to his desk. Rascal looked at his blank piece of paper.

“Maybe I have learned something..”

Hello everyone! As you know, our first WL tale came to a close yesterday. However, today I will be starting a new one! This WL tale is about a raccoon named Rascal. Unlike our first WL Tale, one of our wonderful users helped me with this story. Kalie525 helped come up with the main character, Rascal. She also drew the raccoon and table in the picture! Once I finish this WL tale, I look forward to seeing what other ideas you guys have. Now, without further adieu, I will now start the newest WL Tale: Rascal’s Report.

Rascal’s Report
Chapter One: Crime and Punishment

Our story begins on a hot summer’s day. However, to truly understand why a mangy raccoon was sitting at a desk inside school on summer vacation, you must first go back in time. Back to March.

By March, school had been going on for several months. Most students looked forward to April Vacation, but made sure they worked hard, or else they would miss out on classroom festivities. However, one raccoon was different than the others. This raccoon, Rascal was his name, preferred to continue fooling around, as he had done most of the year. Rascal did not like to work. He rathered playing hours of dicekinz with his friends. He did not like to pay attention. Instead, he spent his classroom time doodling on his desk or shooting spit balls at Ginger, the gold and white cat that sat in front of him. Therefore, Rascal did not get good grades. He did not even get mediocre grades. Rascal failed.

Once day in March, when his teacher was discussing the importance of chlorophyll, Rascal decided to through paper at Ginger. He crumpled up his paper and flung it at her. However, Rascal didn’t realize how far he could throw. The paper sailed past Ginger and when to the very front of the room, hitting Mr. Lee’s ear. Everyone in the class began to laugh, until Mr.Lee, who was a panda, shot them all a threatening glare. His eyes went straight to Rascal.

“This is the last straw boy! You better shape up, or you will spend the summer in SCHOOL”. Mr.Lee’s voice echoed through the classroom. Rascal began to sink down in his chair. Everyone thought Rascal would change. But they were wrong. Oh, were they wrong.

Rascal did not change. By the time June rolled around, Rascal had had 33 detentions, 68 calls home, and an F average. On the last day of school, Mr. Lee called Rascal to his desk.

“Rascal. You haven’t been a good boy this year. Therefore, you will need to enter summer school. i have already contacted your parents. They think summer school is the perfect solution.”

And that is why Rascal was at school in July, slumped over his desk, trying to write a report one his favorite thing he had learned that year…

They’re Finally Here!

The Husky and Racoon Webkinz have finally turned up in my local store. I just had to buy both of them, they looked that cute!  I’ve been seeing these two Webkinz around Webkinz World quite a lot the past few days so I really wanted to join in the party.
